LOCAL - Single Ride Cash Fare:
Adult: $2.35
Youth/Senior/Disabled: $1.15


TRANSBAY - Single Ride Cash Fare:
Adult: $5.50
Youth/Senior/Disabled: $2.75


Children under 5 ride free. Please bring exact change.


Clipper Regional Fare Card
Clipper is the Bay Area’s reloadable smart card and the best way to pay transit fares. Clipper is valid on all Bay Area transit and is reloadable online or through over 100 Bay Area retail locations. AC Transit single ride fares are discounted on Clipper, and 31-day passes are only available on Clipper. ACCESSIBILITY

Passenger ramps/lifts for wheelchair/mobility device users, or anyone who has trouble climbing steps (passengers with strollers or carts may also request the use of ramps/lifts)


“Kneeling,” which lowers the first step several inches to make boarding easier (note: special “Flash Cards” are available upon request from AC Transit, which passengers can display prior to boarding, for requesting ramps/lifts or the kneeler)


Priority seating for persons with disabilities and seniors are marked with signs above or near the seats. You may ask the operator to remind non-disabled passengers to vacate a seat for you.


2 wheelchair securement areas are provided on each bus. Using the securement devices is required and the operator will assist you.


A no-cost, personalized wheelchair marking/tether strap program is also available for identifying proper securement points on wheelchairs, scooters and other mobility devices. Call (510) 891-7113 to schedule an appointment.


Stop announcements at major intersections and transfer points are provided either verbally by drivers or by automated equipment.
